Tiguan 2025: Concept, Specs, Photos. What can we expect from the redesigned Tiguan 2025? Volkswagen did upgrade the Tiguan for the 2022 model year back then, but they have already established a more serious plan for the 2025 model. This small SUV is getting a complete overhaul. Many auto enthusiasts believe that the new Tiguan appears rounder and larger, resembling a downsized version of the Touareg. The curvier bodywork of VW’s most popular model gives a more luxury appearance as well as a larger visual effect. Is the new styling of the Tiguan remarkable and great? Definitely.

Performance and Powertrain

There are no details about the powertrain or how many will be available to the public. There is only general information available, such as the fact that it will have all-wheel and front-wheel drive systems. There would also be a mix of gas units, some of which would be partially electrified. There will most likely be a plug-in hybrid or two plug-in hybrid vehicles. In Europe, there is always the option of at least one diesel engine. They still adore diesel there.Tiguan 2025: Concept, Specs, Photos.

If you are seeking for a zero-emission vehicle, you will be disappointed because VW does not provide one. If you desire the battery-electric type, ID.4 already has that choice. When VW is ready to divulge additional information about the 2019 Tiguan, including performance specs and powertrain options, we should know more.

Layout, Design, and Construction

When VW last refurbished something, it turned out to be ‘only’ a facelift. However, the Tiguan 2025 has been designated as the new third generation, implying that the manufacturer must be serious about the entire new design and structure. The original Tiguan arrived in 2007, and we are currently looking at the third generation in the lineup.

According to images on the internet, the new Tiguan will be built with curvier and softer forms rather than angular bodywork and noticeable horizontal lines. Indeed, the new Tiguan would have a fresh new style and design language. Front and rear fenders will be flared. This can have a different visual effect, making the SUV appear more opulent and larger. If you’re scared that it’ll appear like a Touareg, don’t be. So don’t be concerned.

It’s also not an optical illusion because the sizes are different. The standard (five-seat) Tiguan wheelbase would be longer than the present 105.6 inches, allowing for more passenger room. However, such a deal may not be enough to satisfy US purchasers, who are always looking for additional space. The wheelbase of the current Tiguan in the United States is 109.9 inches. For other markets, this Tiguan is marketed as the Tiguan Allspace, and it has a three-row arrangement. It’s unclear how VW plans to make the Tiguan even longer, but it’s worth noting that the Tiguan isn’t exactly a small or compact vehicle.

Price and availability

It’s safe to assume that the forthcoming Tiguan will be a completely new model. It would include a slew of new features, including active (and passive) safety gear and technology, additional technology features, new exterior and interior designs, and everything else. Don’t be surprised if the new Tiguan has a higher price tag than prior versions. The current model is available in the S ($27,000), SE ($30,600), SE R-Line Black ($33,300), and SEL R-Line ($38,000) trim levels.

The Tiguan’s release date is unknown, however the best estimate would be by the end of 2023 or very early in 2025. When more information about the 2025 Tiguan becomes available, VW will be ready to give it.
