GMC Acadia 2025: Concept, Interior, and Images. If you’ve been wanting a larger Acadia, be ready for the 2025 GMC Acadia. This model is currently being prepped for the upcoming production, and it will undergo a substantial size change. Instead of a mid-life facelift, the car will most likely be completely redesigned. So, if you’ve always wanted a full-size vehicle with strong performance and high quality, keep reading. Who can say? You might like the ride’s overall features and specifications.

Performance and Powertrain

For the base trim levels, the current model is powered by a four-cylinder turbocharged engine. There is an available V6 engine for higher trim levels, such as Denali or SLT. GM may change this powertrain because the newest fuel efficiency and the lack of (standard) adaptive cruise control were rather disappointing.

Design and building

The size of the 2025 GMC Acadia is unknown. To clarify, the current Acadia is nearly one foot longer than the (smaller) GMC Terrain. The Terrain is 182.3 inches long and can seat 5 people, while the Acadia is 193.4 inches long and can seat 7 people. As if that weren’t enough, Acadia has a larger cargo area than Terrain, with 79 cubic feet versus 63.3 cubic feet. Imagine how large the new Acadia will be if the current model just has a few inches before hitting 200 inches.

The Revised Strategy

True, the firm hasn’t disclosed official specs and redesign information regarding this ride, but it’s a given that the next-generation SUV will be larger. According to General Motors President Mark Reuss, the next Acadia will be larger than the existing (and old) Acadia.

There was a rumor in August 2020 regarding the new Acadia expanding in both internal and external dimensions. And it appears like the (new) third-generation Acadia will be a full-size SUV rather than a midsize SUV (as the present second-generation Acadia is). In case you didn’t know, the first generation Acadia, which debuted in 2007, was a full-size crossover with three rows of seating. However, when the second generation Acadia was produced, GM appeared to reduce the overall size to a midsize vehicle.

If the third Acadia is genuinely rising in size, it indicates that the larger dimension will return to the moniker, returning this SUV to its roots. Aside from debuting the Acadia in a new sector and with a new dimension, the third generation Acadia will have a new interior as well as a new styling. Changes may also occur under the hood and during the overall structure. According to certain sources, the new crossover will be built on the C1-2 platform, which is a modified version of the C1 platform (from GM). Aside from the redesigned layout and structure, it’s probable that it may offer Super Cruise, General Motors’ semi-autonomous (driver aid) technology.

Price and release date

Although the Acadia is slated to make its debut in 2025, the dearth of knowledge and formal details has led many auto fans to believe that it would arrive as a 2025 model. There is no information on the pricing range, but the current Acadia starts at $38,200, so you can guess. With a larger Acadia, the price range of the 2025 GMC Acadia is likely to rise.
